As a standard, two cameras are best for special events such as musicals, speeches, conferences, sporting events and much more. While a main camera captures the majority of the action, having a static shot (or safety shot) allows for capture of a wide area of action, such as an entire stage. This allows for quick changes to be made to the main camera without making abrupt or uncomfortable changes for the viewer using a video mixer with recording/streaming capabilities. Additionally, static shots or robotic cameras can be added as requested.
If you already have a setup dedicated to the in-room experience, such as a PA system in a theater auditorium, this can be easily integrated using an external audio mixer connected to the video mixer. This allows an existing system with an auxiliary XLR, 1/4 or 3.5mm audio cable to be compatible with a live stream audience without major hassles. Additionally, a separate microphone system for backup can also provide coverage in the event of an issue with the in-house feed.
Mixing between different camera angles, multimedia, and on-screen graphics is a breeze with our technology. In addition, cuts, transitions, overlays, virtual callers, and much more can make the experience for a viewer enjoyable, pleasant and professional. Using social media integration technologies, viewers can also post questions into a livestream and display them on air. This is also helpful if you have a virtual audience that wants to participate through social media, such as Facebook.
Capturing a Program feed, in addition to ISO records of specific feeds, such as both cameras as separate files for post-production work is possible through combination of internal and external recording. In addition to recording on a video mixer device or laptop with video mixing software, recording ISO feeds on camcorders to dual SD cards is beneficial for backup copies.
With a simple RTMP link and stream key, live-streaming to any platform of your choice, as long as media copyright laws and platform rules meet the criteria for usage. Having a private audience view an invite-only livestream is also possible through a range of technologies.
Have guests that will be appearing virtually? Using special calling technology, we can bring anyone into a livestream appearing virtually, and send a mix minus to your PA system. This is done by preventing feedback loops, allowing the event to run smoothly without uncomfortable audio hiccups.
